As there is no direct customer-based relationship between the beneficiaries and Castler, they cannot ask Castler for any Data related queries, They can direct the queries to the merchants where they have a direct relationship with.

We do not collect any special categories of personal data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health, and genetic and biometric data).

Castler also complies with the Digital personal data protection act. The T&Cs at castler captures below clauses

  1. We implement certain security measures including encryption and firewalls to protect your personal information from unauthorised access and such security measures are in compliance with the security practices and procedures as prescribed under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the applicable rules (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information Rules, 2011). However, you agree and acknowledge that the above-mentioned measures do not guarantee absolute protection to the personal information and by accessing the Services, you agree to assume all risks associated with disclosure of personal information arising due to breach of firewalls and secure server software.

  2. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password that enables you to access certain parts of the Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share the password with anyone.

  3. We will comply with the requirements under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder in the event of a data or security risk.

  6. Castler may suspend operation for maintenance or technical reasons. Misuse can result in termination of access.

  7. User agree to terms before using Castler's services. Non-agreement requires discontinuation of use.

  8. Users must keep login details secure. They are responsible for transactions made under their ID and password.

  9. Documents/instructions require electronic signatures. Instructions may be submitted via email communication.

  10. CASTLER may rely on electronically signed instructions and may decline or omit to act on certain instructions.

  11. Users indemnify CASTLER against losses arising from electronically signed instructions.

  12. CASTLER may disclose data to regulatory authorities. Customer data may be shared in compliance with the law.

  13. CASTLER is not liable for damages caused by third-party platforms, errors in instructions, or unauthorized alteration of data.

  14. Instructions cannot be reversed once processed. CASTLER may try to reverse instructions at the customer's request, subject to banking rules.

  15. Castler may reject instructions with erroneous or incomplete information, and CASTLER is not liable for any resulting loss.

  16. CASTLER may close or debit-freeze accounts for inaccurate information provided by the customer.

  17. Customers must send reports/information via email, acknowledging risks and indemnifying CASTLER against losses.

  18. Upon transferring escrow amounts, CASTLER is relieved of obligations under the escrow agreement.

  19. Customers are responsible for reconciling funds in the escrow account.

  20. CASTLER reserves the right to change terms without notice, and users are bound by modified terms.

DATA RETENTION

You are aware that your personal data will continue to be stored and retained by us for a reasonable period after termination of your use of our Services on the Website.

CHANGE IN PRIVACY POLICY

CASTLER Tech solutions Pvt Ltd has a grievance management portal. This Portal is a complaint portal where users/merchants which have ongoing customer-based relationship with CASTLER. User can basically mention the reason behind the query which can be related to Onboarding, KYC, escrow creation etc. Customer can select others as type of query and log in their complaint on the website. Complaint can be filed for below cases:-

  1. Exercise their right to withdraw the consent

  2. Approach us for any other grievance redressal mechanism – performance of the Castler obligations on processing on personal data
