Castler, a leading escrow platform, has appointed Ritesh Tiwari, a former senior executive at Visa UK and Ireland, as Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer to spearhead its international market expansion. Tiwari, an IIM alumnus with over a decade of expertise in payments, banking, and cross-border solutions, brings significant experience, including leading the tokenization and Visa Account Updater Suite Solution.

Castler, operational since April 2021, collaborates with ten banking partners and supports over 500 enterprises, managing ₹5,000 crore in monthly transactions. It is also developing an Escrow Banking Stack, a middleware solution for banks and enterprises, to address challenges like identity verification, fraud management, and customer protection. Recently, Castler raised $6 million in Pre-Series. A funding led by Flipkart, Capital2B, IIFL, and Zerodha. The company also appointed Kumar Amit, ex-Razorpay, as Co-Founder and COO, to scale its operations.
